Kundalini is a journey...

Kundalini has taken me across  the country a number of times in the last 5 years.  Always growing up I dreamed of traveling yet never went anywhere.  The chance to travel has been a gift.  One that has given me lessons on many levels and in many ways.

Every place I go becomes a place I want to return to.  Have to admit my favorite area is Northern Italy.  When there I feel right at home; everything is familiar and comfortable.  My father's family lived near Bassano del Grappa in Veneto.  The towns all have centers with shops and restaurants all around them.  Most of the towns have walls some are ruins yet others have been refurbished.  The architecture is glorious and the art -more than one can imagine.

The Brenta River runs thru Bassano.  On the last visit I walked into the river.  Calling on my ancestors to be with me and to share a brief moment of memory.

With Kundalini there is a journey.  One that may not take you to far away places yet one that requires some dedication and surrender to what is given.

My traveling days are not yet over.  I feel there is much more that I need to see and experience and people to meet.  I am grateful for what I have been given.  Kundalini is the ultimate gift IMO.

Not one that is given frivolously and not to be taken lightly.  The Divine has an agenda for all who are graced with the gift of Kundalini.  I am happy the agenda for me includes travel.

Kundalini and teeth...

Went to the dentist today.  All is well and I am very grateful.  My parents had very bad teeth because they did not have the money when small to have work done.  My generation got abit better and the next generation in my family have wonderful teeth for they got the regular checkups and all the needed rigamoro.  So far my teeth have lasted there are aches and pains form K and from the clamping down at night yet I still have the original with lots of caps and fillings but they are there.
Teeth can take a beating from the K

My routine includes ( this is only my opinion here not medical advice:- always check with your dentist to see what is best for you.

I  use an ORAL B electric brush along with a regular brush, floss nightly ( a tip from a hygienist- after you brush only rinse lightly once),  Tom's Toothpaste and once in awhile a rinse - not a harsh one baking soda is nice to use mixed with water.  Salt water is also a good rinse especially if the mouth is irritated. I have a cleaning every 6 months.

Food has a big effect on teeth and there are many articles written on this.

For this day I thank shakti for giving me a good review.  I know that I will eventually need more work but for now all is well- YEAH!!!

Whispering sweet nothings...

Whispering sweet nothings...

As the Kundalini finds its way into ones life there are subtle learnings that take place on many levels.  It took me a long time to realize that in every event in my life there were messages from my Kundalini.  Now with every breathe I await the gifts that are given.  From a simple bird call; a view of the sea in all its wild magnificence; a chance meeting of an old man on the street; the smell of the damp woods; the taste of the fresh ripe strawberry; the call from a dear friend; the pain of a physical injury- all these are messages given so that I might learn and understand what is given.
At times there is not a clear understanding so then it is a matter of just accepting what is given and know that all is as it should be at this time.  Trusting I am being held in the heart of the Divine Shakti - here is where I will find my true self.

Waking to nature...

 Waking to nature...

What a gorgeous morning!!!  The air here in CA is crisp, dry and smells so clean.  When I go out and look up the above is what I see.  A canopy of branches shelter all around me.  In the morning the birds are singing, at the moment there is a dove cooing and the blue jays are flitting about from one feeder to the next. There is a stillness as the soft breeze moves the leaves and smaller branches.  the flowers are blooming so as one moves from area to area there are scents that arouse the senses.  Some are very strong yet all have a beauty that assails the nose.

Kundalini surrounds all that I do and all that I experience.  Not only does it surround it all - it embraces and engulfs everything that I see, smell, feel, touch, and hear.  All the senses are given a boost to exposure to "more."  A gift of beauty that keeps growing.  All that I see is amplified - brighter, sharper, more true ..."more."

Weaving meditation...

Baskets have always been a love of mine.  Years ago I learned from Lorraine Burnett in IN.  We did the basket style above- the MELON BASKET.  As I rode home with my basket on my lap I marveled at how I had made something from some pieces of rattan.  It was a beautiful basket in my opinion.  From that day forward I began teaching and sharing my love for the craft with others.

There is a rhythm that one finds when weaving.  It is calming and regenerative as well as rejuvenating.  As I weave I become lost in the process.

This same feeling is embraced with the Kundalini.  Allowing the process to envelope one and to be open to the gift of grace brings one to a feeling of contentment of surrender.  When the Kundalini began its work with me I began to work with chrism and to share my love of the process with others.  As I shared of my knowledge of basketry I began sharing of my learnings and understandings of the Kundalini.  The learnings never end and I am grateful for the KAS1 teachings.

As the Divine is creatively showing me how to come back to my true self I will show others how to weave and meditate on creating baskets.

As the changes occur...

I used to attribute all the nuances of my five bodies to men&pause and then when Kundalini kicked in I realized that all that had occurred was Kundalini related. Now there is no question- every little happening is Kundalini whether it be the bum knee, the loss of friends, the seeing of nature with clarity, the manifesting a class...it is all Kundalini related.

There are lessons learned in all situations. What does one learn with a fractured kneecap? Patience - it takes forever to do anything and there has to be some planning for rides, humility - having to ask for help- loss of the old- have to learn to adapt to new ways of doing things and have to learn that not everyone is service oriented.

It is all good. All is as it should be- and really I personally feel there is nothing I can do about it for my life will play out as it needs to. I will learn as I need to OR it will present once again perhaps in a different venue.

All is Kundalini Awakening now that she has entered my life. May you embrace the gift and know that there is good in all that is...

Forgiveness for self...forgiveness of others...

The picture above is by Nancy Noel I came across her paintings a number of years ago.  At one point I had in my possession 10 of the angel prints all signed and a few other of her prints.  When Kundalini arrived I began a clearing out of possessions.  I seem to do this every time I move which has been many times in the last 5 years.  Over and over I am reminded that this detaching from "stuff" for me is necessary.  Forgiving myself for being so into the material and forgiving my Kundalini for asking me to let go takes time and practice.  I now have only memories of so many things from my past and soon the memories may need to go.  The Divine is very demanding.
